People still getting the Ayton contract situation wrong. The Suns wanted a 4 year contract so we have flexibility to trade for a rookie extension player. If we give Ayton a 5 year max we can't trade for another since we'd have two (with Booker's). We want to have flexibility to trade for a guy like SGA if he becomes available. That's why we matched the contract as soon as there was a 4 year contract on the table.
