2/5 from the free throw line but still, he was pushing the pace up when he was on the floor. Big improvement from last year, he’s a lot more controlled while still doing his usual speedy routine.

Wow. He’s really grown as a player.

His handle has looked a lot better and he has limited the turnovers. If he keeps this up, he will easily be a main guy in our rotation

I recall someone said if Banton spent another year in college he would have been a lottery pick. It’s all coming together.

He’s SO much better than he was at Nebraska. Holy fuck.

Got to sit 2nd row for this game. Beyond observing the team-wide lack of shooting up close, the other take away was how great Dalano is. He’s a killer in transition and a good finisher, plus he can rebound his own misses and defend on the other end.
I can’t imagine he doesn’t make the team.

Really cool archetype for a player. 6’9 playmaker with pace and an excellent versatile defender.
I think he’s going to see plenty of minutes this season. Nurse was forcing him into the rotation last year even when he was an unmitigated disaster on offense! Now he looks so much more composed, and you can feel he’s putting pressure on the defense when he’s coming off a screen. That hesitation move he’s added is deadly, and his finishing seems improved too.
The jumper still needs work (including free throws) and he still had some silly turnovers, but I’m really excited to see how much more he can develop his scoring ability

I’ve said since the summer that he would be one of the guys to improve the most.
He’s just a hooper. You can tell he eats, breathes and sleeps basketball.
