Day 96 of goated playoff performances: Michael Jordan plays like God in a Game 2 loss vs the dynasty Celtics, but not without setting a playoff record 63/5/6/3/2 in his sophomore season, 1986 EC 1st Round, 9 days left!

Bruh, that stat line is absurd.
And he did it against one of the greatest teams of all time in the playoffs
Goated performance fitting of the GOAT. “God disguised as Michael Jordan”
He was literally giving everybody on the Celtics the work. Hell the coach wasn’t even on the court and gave up 8 points to Jordan.
Breh did everything he could. Really just went supernova this game
plumbers
Didn’t attempt a single 3.
I’ve literally had Bron stans tell me that MJ choked this series because theBulls got swept
This brings two things to mind.
1: It doesn’t matter how good you are, no one can win by themselves. A great team will always beat an outstanding player.
2: It’s weird how most high volume scoring outbursts are in either losses or really tight games. You’d think on paper if someone is dropping 60+ that’d it be a blowout. Jordan lost this game, in Kobe’s 81 point game they were down to Toronto for a good chunk of that game, and Wilt’s 100 went into overtime.
Greatest performance ever considering how good was that Celtics team.
Lol when a 3 point foul only gave 2 fts
My takeaway from watching this series in full over the summer was “damn, Kevin McHale is really good”
His hang time on some of those jumpers is simply ridiculous.
