That metric is ass for projection IMO. I’ve been occasionally checking it for years, it seems to assume all players will revert to the mean for the league

Don’t pay attention to these metrics. Jalen was the worst starter in the NBA for over half of his rookie year so his advanced stats are all shit and the model projects him as such
He’s probably gonna average an efficient 20 ppg this year and with better advanced stats the model is gonna put him in the all star group next year
Also some people may not want to hear it but it is very hard to be a star if you are a center who can’t shoot and can’t defend so yea Sengun that low makes sense. He needs to atleast improve at one of those aspects
