[East] Jackson, a young fan sitting near the white team bench, just jokingly asked if he could check in. So the Pacers let him. And he scored, wearing Buddy Hield’s jersey.

That is awesome. Teams should do random shit like this more often.

Looking at the footwork, the finish and the speed not to mention the control, that young player has potential. I wonder if Okc is tired of waiting 10 years for their picks. Indiana revolutionizing tanking and just skipping the middle ground.

But dropping the joke I was just watching that post with Zion in the 8th grade, now I see this. I think Europe for soccer there are many teams with an under-something leagues in like a streamline, wasnt Luka playing in something like that before he made it to the top league at like 15. Maybe the US might get something like that.

Imagine if some of the top prospects in the NBA were contracted(maybe not really a contract but an agreement to practice under so/so banner till they declare for the draft) to NBA teams from young, the contract is just to play for their under-something team and does not stop them from getting drafted somewhere else but it allows them to be in a somewhat professional development program under a real NBA team and that makes it easier to do what college does and bring the top prospects earlier together. I also think Baseball has a rule in which allows a player to get drafted to a team somehow connected to them if the team makes some concessions beforehand. It could work similar to that if the player and team built that rapport over the years.

I was hoping for a regular dude scoring while they played some kind of defense, I’m a little disappointed lol
