How are we supposed to create familiarity and cohesion if the guys keep sitting out? Last year we took preseason very light and with injuries, we never caught that stride. I’m not saying they should play 20-30 min but they need at least the first half to try out their plays and learn to play with each other

So you’re telling me, that coming off 3 days rest they couldn’t play the first half? I actually don’t care if they win or lose in preseason, but it’s about building continuity.

This is ridiculous. LeBron wants to play, why not let him play? We know Russ does not like to sit, let them play. Why not use this opportunity to see how the defensive/offensive schemes look against one of the best offense and defense in the league?

This is exactly why we are going to start out prob 0-5 in season. Not taking pre season serioulsy at all, and then not being able to just magically figure shit out the first game of the season. We need to running out actual lineups at this point, even if its just 10 mins.
