(This is not a slight on Tyrese, and we understand that one season isn’t the end-all-be-all, just observing that his situation this season indicates a lot about the player he is or could become)

First things first – we [LOVE](https://enjoybasketball.beehiiv.com/p/players-crossroads) Tyrese Haliburton. This year, he will have free rein to be *the man* in Indiana, so it might project what peak ‘Rese could look like five years from now. Is he going to be a very good starter (someone that every roster would love to have), OR is he going to be an all-star, all-NBA caliber guy to build a contender around? It all depends on his on-ball scoring, ability to make teammates better, and defensive prowess, which all look promising. Pulling for him!
