Ben Simmons defense is legit! Great ball handling and court vision too. Like Kobe said he lacks a jump shot but he's still an asset. His mental health is also worrisome but glad to see the man doin well. Keep it up!

All that physically bumping to score will tire out offensive player legs .. throughout the game it can alter a jumps shooter’s accuracy

We tried to warn people that he could guard Gianni's. Haters were hating, but he's proving it to them. He cannot stop him every time, but he is a legit Defender.

Making Giannis work harder offensively can also impact his defense which is a plus for opposing teams. Though Ben is working hard on defense it doesn’t necessarily hurt him offensively due to him being a pass first big guard. It’s a great asset for BK. Especially if BK goes to the playoffs and has to face MIL
The advantage that the Nets have is that they will get similar production from Simmons because yes he may not score as much as Giannis but his playmaking, rebounding and defense makes them about even. Simmons is only as good as his teammates so luckily he is in Brooklyn lol
