Bet the over.
It’s truly a bummer we won’t have Lonzo, is how I feel.
ATL is interesting. Will depend on Murray meshes. I wish the model implied more unpredictability there, if it rates ATL at 2 and CLE at 8 I feel like we are not giving CLE the same bump that ATL got when adding an all star
Bucks seem a tad low
I want to say we’ll beat out CHA and NYK but there are a lot of variables. If we score 35 or less wins that would be a massive failure of a season. Speaks to the capriciousness of the NBA; I feel like in a nutshell AK made all the right moves to create a top 4 east team but life once again has come to shit on us
538 always has the Bulls very low due to the criteria of their model. the system they use hates Zach (rated as the 103rd best player in the league) who is rated lower than Javonte Green and even with Andre Drummond. Vuc is also very low at 117. Even missing Lonzo for a large chunk of the season I don’t see an 11 game drop. Anything can happen but I would be very disappointed if the Bulls finish behind NYK and CHA this year. I think the Bulls will be competing with ATL, CLE, MIA, and BKN for 4 through 8 after in no particular order BOS, MIL, and PHI.
I’m more surprised they have the raptors over the bucks honestly. also think the pacers are too high up but we’ll see.
There’s zero chance Charlotte is finishing ahead of us this year… Not saying we’re winning a chip, but we sure as shit ain’t losing to the Hornets.
I would say it’s bulletin board material, but does anyone find 538 even a little bit creditable?
Last year they predicted a 38-44 season for the Bulls.
