Why do people have platforms that don’t know ball man I gotta start a show. He is worried about 6/15 fg in a preseason game. Are you seeing hardens burst? How he is moving physically?? His elevation?? Tired of people acting like harden just suck he puts up numbers tht only him and chris paul can accomplish night in and out and this guy talking about 6/15 give me a break. Learn what to look for in a preseason game. Got this casual on here but working for a professional company smh
Harden averages 10 assist and boosts the play of every single person on this roster. Everybody’s numbers on the team went up after harden joined and he says “we dont get to reap the benefits of harden” OH REALLY?? These fools don’t understand that a facilitator opens up things way more than a pure scorer ever could. While a pure scorer may have 50 points, they probably have 3-4 assists to go with it. 20-25 points with 10 -12 assists is way more productivity than 50 points with no other shots created for your teammates. I shouldn’t have to explain this
6/15 is not a bad shooting game for a guard, especially if you factor in everything he did on the floor.
Casuals talking basket forget thats its rare for guards to shoot high 40s% from the field every game, considering the fact that they take harder shots than centers and forwards, this factor shows even more when the guards are the focal point of the offense. However, generally things balance out if the guards are allowed to shoot a higher volume of shots. Some of Hardens best seasons have came because he shot so many attempts.
In this game had he not been prioritizing being a play maker he very easily could have finished the game with 11/20 which no one would complain about. But instead you got this guy nitpicking a good game by Harden. Smh
If doc thinks a second unit of Harrell and niang as the front court is going to be successful, it’s going to get real ugly. Paul reed needs to be in the game. His defense is crucial for us. He can play with embiid, with Harrell or anyone else. Doc needs to evolve.
If embiid in shape and James harden ….with maxey….this team can play with anyone in the LEAGUE….with pj tucker and Melton tough coming off the bench…put Paul Reed at forward with embiid…. BUTTER…
