The Sacramento Kings of the making of a good team. Their new head coach, Mike Brown has shown that his new scheme on defense and even on offenses team this team has looked phenomenal throughout the preseason.

    This is the year where Fox earns respect. I believe the lineup in the beginning of the season will be Fox, Huerter, Barnes, Okpala, and Sabonis. Then Murray will be go off and Mike Brown will implement a Fox, Huerter, Barnes, Murray, Sabonis lineup.

    this bench is deep… starters are good solid high scorers and the bench mobb 2.o are a solid defenders

    Just preseason, but think Kings had number 1 defensive rating in it and then some you should look into it! Obviously we will see if they keep it up but I say they are a top 15 defense this year and top 10 (maybe 5) offense. Fox, Huerter, HB, Murray, Domas is my preferred starting 5 but I don’t mind KZ starting until Murray eases in to defending nba guys (he is solid but I think he will get better)

    It's the most balanced roster the kings have had in years. I really like the moves McNair did in the off season , from early returns they look like a team that will be good at shooting three's with Fox and Sabonis being able to work the paint ..Yes it's preseason and it doesn't matter .. but the one thing I did find hope full , preseason games are generally high scoring, there was only one game in the 4 played that the kings allowed over 100 points .. which means even the 3rd string and beyond were playing defence.

    They better prove it this year or De'Aaron Fox is done and they need to stay healthy. Kings have been unlucky with injury in the past, doing too much 1 on 1 basketball plus poor organization. If Kings can prove me wrong which I project a 26-56 record, make playoffs at 6th seed or higher, then I will absolutely be shocked. Kings need to be top 5 in fewest points allowed in NBA.

    Domas is the most disrespected player in the entire NBA. The man himself can be a DHO machine and just elevates all his teammates. As long as Keegan, Domas and Fox/Davion are healthy the Kings will be in the playoffs.

    The Kings were the #1 defense in the league during the preseason. Is that going to hold during the season? Probably not. However, if they are a top 15 defensive team (which would be a major jump from the high 20s in the past years), they will make the playoffs because the offense will be there.

    KZ Opala will be the starter to go with Fox, Huerter, Barnes & Sabonis. Monk, Mitchell & Murray will be the bench from hell!

    Edit: I didnt imagine that getting rid of Bagley and Hield would make such a significant difference on this team.
