Draymond playing with the lakers could help defensively, but make the lakers even worse offensively. Offensively, Draymond is a more terrible version on Russ. At least Russ has a handle and driving ability. Draymond has zero offensive skill. 🤦🏽♂️ Draymond isn’t the answer for the lakers.

Your caption is misleading. The Warriors have always negotiated extensions in the final year of the contract for all players prior to the startup of the next season. If it’s good enough for Curry, it should be good enough for Draymond; he’s under contract for two years. The Warriors had to extend Poole & Wiggins. Green will have an opportunity for an extension after this season should he chooses to stay with the team.
They didn't suspend Draymond to keep his value high enough to trade him during the season.

Congratulations to that young man! He deserves it and Draymond hates the swag this kid walks around with knowing his potential. Too late now because the Warriors understand how to build for the future. Draymond had his time, now they are getting back to skilled positions where everyone plays a very specific role in GSW's offense and defense. Draymond is a throwback at this point…and a major liability if you're trying to vie for a championship.
