He deserves this bag. He proved them wrong!!!!

Bob sounds like an engineering manager writing feedback to get one of his reports promoted lol

replace “championship” with “project” or “launch”, “the league” with “the company”, and “two-way player” with “individual contributor”

I need a list of all the hating ass hoes on this sub that was putting him in trade machines along with James Wiseman.

His game 5 in the finals solidified this deal. Dude was unreal!

Get this man a fancy pen to sign his fancy contract!!!

Took a sizeable pay cut to stay too. A 27 year old two-way wing in his prime coming off being the second best player in a championship win, and an all star. Those type of guys usually get maxes or super maxes. Plus the player option? So he can opt out and possibly renegotiate (in the perfect timeline) if the young guys turn out great and it’s time for them to get paid. Very team friendly deal.

It really was amazing seeing Wiggins actually happy. Hadn’t seen him smile since entering the league. Being on the Timberwolves will really do things to you.

It feels wrong that players use cheap plastic pens to sign $100m+ deals. They should be using quills. Or at least nice pens

For Wigg’s statue I don’t want him doing a dunk or a midrange. I just want his smile immortalized in SF.

I’m always surprised that these contracts are signed by cheap regular pens. It looks like he’s using something that is barely a step up from a bulk box of bics lol

    Negative asset->two way wigs->all star starter->champ

    Dear Minnesota Timberwolves:

    **** you!

    Sincerely,

    Andrew C. Wiggins

His usage rating during the Celtics series pretty much secured his bag and place on this team. He could have signed a max somewhere else and gotten more money after this season, but it goes to show you how special a championship becomes to your legacy as a player. You could tell he understood this holding that trophy, all the doubt, talks of being a bust…gone like a fucking fart in the wind.

Wiggs signing 4 year extension at team friendly $109M is an even bigger deal than the Poole extension. Lockdown wing defender, KD-lite post game, 2nd best player in the Finals, seamless team first guy…. at only 27yo.

The Dray fiasco seems gave more advantage to the management.
They got Poole to lock-in more years, which gave them excuse to give Wiggs to sell the young core build-up with less in the bag. Anyways he already got the money thanks to Minnesota.

If they want to keep Dray, Klay should be willing also to have a pay-cut.
Dray will be pushing for that max. And Dray is a smart guy he got his rings because of the splash bros, he will not go to unfamiliar organization who cannot tolerate his tantrums. He is a high risk and high reward guy, and only few org is willing to take that risk.

I am guessing the management will give a fair deal but not the max contract.
Dray will take the bait since he knows his body is no longer used to the banging (he max all the time he can get to recover withbhis back his injury last season) He just want a good money because he took the paycut before.

The big problem moving forward, the warriors have 3 lottery picks, they are not cheap.
