James Wiseman Pre-Season Stats – 14.8/6.2 on 67 FG% in 19 Minutes a night

James Wiseman had himself a really solid pre-season as he averaged the following

14.8 Points
6.2 Rebounds (1.4 Offensive and 4.6 Defensive)
1.4 Assissts
66.7 FG% on 8.4 attempts
50 3PT%(1/2)
0.8 BLKS
19.1 Minutes

Wiseman had 1 start in these 5 games, he had 18 and 7 in that one. With Wiseman improving, what do you guys think he means for the Warriors currently. He’s the only back up Center and if he can get 12 and 6 or more off the bench it’d be a big add for them and if he continues what he’s done in the Pre-Season, it could be massive.

I’m looking forward to seeing if he’s even capable of being a net positive for the warriors this season.

Warriors had a 43 win pace last time he played and that increased to a 60 win pace once he got injured.

He’s been looking a lot more aware of his surroundings and less lost. Being able to have his first training camp of his career did wonders for him

I hope he just has an insane season for no reason

  4. I mainly want him to be good enough for people to have to stop saying they should have taken LaMelo.

I’ve never been more confused by the doubts a player faced

we’re still trying to make this guy a thing? lol

  7. He’s looked much better. I’d personally still like to see him become more of a tenacious rebounder, better rim protector, and a better screen setter though. But gotta give credit to the improvements he’s made so far

Warriors turned McGee into a winner. Give the kid some time. As long as he can stay on the court? sheeeeeeeeet

  9. He looked great. Was surprised by his ability to shoot the mid range.

  10. Poole Moody Kuminga and Wiseman are the future core of this team.

I could see him thriving playing 12 minutes a game on a unit that is built around his skill set. Keep the game simple and let him use his strengths so he can build confidence.

His defense & rebounding is still bad and he’s about to get expensive. Next summer is already extension time.

Let him have a few good games then trade him for Wendell Carter jr & an Orlando 2nd round pick and try to win 2 of the next 4 championships.

  13. LooneyTunes-

Defense is still atrocious even if he knows what to do he realizes too slow for it to matter

Seeing his skill set, Wisemans ceiling is through the roof.

He could absolutely become an all star center…or at worst a Anthony Randolph clone.

I don’t look too much into pre-season stats, but he’s definitely changed as a player. Dude looked lost in years past now he looks comfortable so I’m excited about what he can do.

Still kinda a bust tho for what he was worth

If the dubs hadn’t just won, everyone would have then as the dark horse to win the chip this season.

Like. If they stay healthy, good fucking luck league. Tho we know they won’t. What I want to see is how well Poole plays in pla e of steph is steph goes down. He does a helluva curry impression.

And they are totally gonna keep draymond unless he breaks down. He is crazy valuable on both sides of the ball, their offense is shit when he misses full games.

Ok, not to shut, but watching that long-ass losing streak last year, they need him.

Wembanyana would have doubled that stat line

The blocks stat is extremely innacurate btw.

Preseason? Stats here are for people trying to make a team.

It’s actually wild to me how quickly people where willing to write off a guy who’s 7’1 and very skilled and coordinated who had barely played competitive basketball after 40 games.

Moody and JK improved a lot over their first season. I look forward to seeing Wiseman grow over this one

League is on notice Wiseman is coming. Dubnation for life. The pick and roll is on for this team. He’s a lob threat and rim protector too.
