As a clippers fan, I certainly hope that we can get at least one completely healthy season. If not, I'm off this team as presently constructed.

Kawhi misses one year and we’re doubting if he’s still good? Chris completely didn’t acknowledge PG’s run in the 2020-21 season where him and Kawhi where shooting 50/40/80 splits being the most efficient wing duo since Jordan and Pippen to cap off a WCF appearance. Kawhi is going to be fine and this Clippers team will live up to the hype if not exceed expectations this year.
Over rated . Lebron and Steph are the standard. In my opinion. But he’s not a leader . He’s just so good that it makes a difference. He also only won the second title cuz KD and Klay were injured. No injuries Kawhi doesn’t win his second title. But that shot he made against Philadelphia goes down in history
Man, this rant took to long. Kawhi will start slow. And then he will hit that switch… And if he stays healthy, Clippers are at least facing Warriors in WCF. I actually think that stylistically Denver is bigger problem for Clippers than Warriors.
Kawhi is nothing but a footnote.

There's gonna be some rust for sure. But the thing is Kawhi's game doesn't really rely heavily on elite athleticism and explosiveness. His game was more like of "play at his own phase" bully ball. And he's noticebly bigger this year that he can play pf if he wanted. And him being bigger will help him offensively. So im not worried about him offensively. Although I think we wont be seeing the elite defense peak kawhi had.

I swear did the entire NBA world get hit with amnesia about the Clippers 2020-21 season and their 2021 playoff run. They went to the WCF (first time in team history, broke the 2nd round curse), PG was great in the playoffs and big in clutch moments, and Kawhi was 1st Team All-NBA and avg 30+ on 57% shooting in the playoffs. No championship, but not a failure so far.
The way they're talking you would think the Clippers haven't been in the playoffs since the bubble and Kawhi has been out since 2020.
