I figured as much. Footing a massive tax bill would ve much easier to swallow if the team performs well this season. If it doesn’t, ownership may look at opportunities to save via trades.
Translation… let’s let Future Bob worry about Future Bob problems.
This implies that the Warriors won’t change the team much during the season, like trade a key player for tax reasons
