>In addition to live streams of traditional Clippers broadcasts, the product also has options where fans can choose an alternate stream; another that offers augmented graphics showing real-time shot probability and other stats during live play; options in both Spanish and Korean; and one called BallerVision — which will have a rotating lineup of analysts including Jamal Crawford, Baron Davis, Paul Pierce, Quentin Richardson, and Matt Barnes.

But really this is great. I hope it catches on. The RSN’s are a fucking disaster.
It’s about fucking time one of these sports leagues recognized the value of streaming. If this is the catalyst for MLB TV etc. dropping regional blackout restrictions on local fans I’ll be forever grateful to the Clippers.

A Mexican soccer team tried this. They called to ChivasTV and the app sucked. It was buggy it lagged the announcers were pulled out of the stands.

I could see this being the teams all getting their ducks in a row for the next CBA where they hopefully detach from being locked by cable providers.
