How do you guys feel about this?
Honestly, if we weren’t in the amazing situation we’re in now I’d probably still be salty about the Porter stuff. But it all worked out in the end, he obviously didn’t want to be here and I’m glad we didn’t risk him fucking up the chemistry of an even better team.
Looking at the contract at face value it’s obviously a massive overpay just based on performance so far. But when you look at it with the incentives and options, and think of his potential and how the cap is going to increase, i’d say it’s a fine contract for both sides.
It’s good to see he’s turned it around.
