I think few of us thought Steve was good enough for the role, but we also can appreciate that he tried his best and had to deal with a lot of ridiculously difficult situations.

Shut up Steve. Nobody cares bro. Straight ruined this team with his inability to change or adapt.

Steve is a good guy. Hard to see how anyone succeeds with this group of clowns

  4. Certain-Attempt

Good guy but he shoulda never got the job tbh

Not the best coach, but it was always bizarre to hire a first time coach to lead a team with title expectations. And then deal with all the extra-curricular stuff that he had to?

Kyrie and KD don’t seem like particularly coachable dudes before you throw in a global pandemic and anti-semitism…which is a really weird thing to have to write out

A good man but unable to call time outs, make challenges, make rotations and adjustments

  7. Being new to the team, he seems like a genuinely good guy! Had to happen but wish him all the best.

Really graceful exit message. Never a doubt about his class and how good of a guy he is. Noone else could have managed to go through 2+ years of the clown Shit here and not thrown every single player under the bus.

He sucks at adjustments, rotations, ATOs and general playcalling, but he was always a good guy. Too bad outside of maybe Pop noone can manage our Stars’ ego, I just hope Ime or Quin can manage them enough to get us a ring.

At this point, for all we have endured through this roster, we deserve a ring for our troubles.

  9. Classy statement. He’s a good dude, but not what the team needed with all of the crazy egos. Not experienced or structured enough of a head coach.

He’s been a class act his whole time here and rarely threw anyone under the bus

His coaching was ass, he never should’ve been hired, but he had an exemplary temperament

Hope the best for him. He’s a good guy just inexperienced at being head coach.

I just don’t get why they came into the season with him as the head coach. Like what did they think? Should have got rid of him in the offseason. Whatever though
