I get his point. But I still look around the east and struggle to see 4 teams better then us even without rob as long as we play our game. Still think Stevens has to do something to find another big.

I see where KG is coming from but I think that we are too 2 in the east right behind the Bucks. They look fucking scary this year and I’m eagerly awaiting a matchup with them to see how we match up with them. They are the true threat. We are mentally tougher than Philly, Brooklyn is too volatile for now, Chicago is a Lonzo Ball away from being a real threat and all the other teams seem a few steps behind us.

Not a crazy unreasonable take while Rob is out. Once Rob comes back though it’s us and Milwaukee imo
Philadelphia hasn’t played great at times but are still a good team. Cleveland and Toronto have looked really good.
Brooklyn hasn’t looked like anything more than another play-in team. Maybe they get it together but barring any significant injuries, they are just simply not a better team than Milwaukee, Boston or Cleveland. All 3 of these interiors will eat Brooklyn alive in the playoffs and with the way Simmons has been playing, Middleton/Mitchell/Garland/Tatum/Brown will cook their perimeter defense too.
You think our defense has been bad/shaky so far? Brooklyn has the worst Def Rating in the league and has the 4th worst point differential so far. They are just…not contenders and I wish everyone would stop pretending they are. 2 guys do not win basketball games.
