  1. Good guy. Great player. Not a great coach, especially for this kind of team

  2. Lightingfast31

Great player one of the all timers but coaching ain’t for everyone. Collect those checks coach don’t have to go through the drama anymore

  3. UrbanJatt

Firing Steve nash isn’t gonna solve their problems.

  4. fat_lever123

“With many challenges” is killing me

  5. luckylefty3587

Nash’ll be good as a player developer

  6. Few_Mulberry7175

Good start to find a coach who can actually coach but firing Nash ain’t fixing this lol

  7. Realistic_Camp5232

With nash gone nets might be the scariest 8th seed ever one more time

  8. Sp_Gamer_Live

“I now have time to follow my real passion: Tik Tok”

  9. KodiakKing23

Translated: Good fucking luck to the next coach dealing with that dumpster fire

  10. JilJungJukk

The Steve Nash memoir about to hit different

  11. StoneColdAM

I feel he’d have had a better time on a more typical team than this Nets mess.

  12. “A very heartfelt thanks to Joe and Clara Tsai for finally freeing me of this shitshow”

  13. The_Haskins

I can’t blame him for wanting the fuck off the Titanic lol

  14. rttrumbl

“I’m especially grateful to my coaching staff and video room” gotta give an shout out the video guys for their character and professionalism just to show emphasize what the players were lacking lol.

  15. irishwolfbitch

Desperately wanted this hire to work out. Nash is my all-time favorite player and thought if he could just manage egos while the assistants did the heavy lifting, I would be very happy. Not only was I disappointed in the coaching outcomes, but this recent stuff of him standing behind Kyrie’s statements as a matter of tolerance or some nonsense really killed me. He’s probably a good guy well over his head.

  16. HOLLA12345678

This isn’t going to change anything but I get it. They need to trade Kyrie somehow now to try and salvage this team.

  17. Infraready

Now he can get back to making TikTok dance videos full time

  18. krypto9er

Wonder what is next for him, maybe do some college coaching or work as player development/assistant. Hey maybe help bring a team back to Vancouver lol

  19. reason4rage

Anyone know if he wants a job in philly lol

  20. CoaxHoax

Kidd was ass when he first came up too. Nash could def use the experience as an assistant coach, but his time in brooklyn might’ve convinced him to never coach again.

  21. petrichormus

Can Evil Geniuses just hire Steve Nash. Let Bulba coach the nets i don’t care.

  22. Maybe now he can condemn anti Semitic behaviors of Kyrie?

  23. Translation: “Fuck y’all ima go follow the world cup”

  24. SketchArtist

“I’ve looked at the Nets from both sides now.” — Nash (and also probably Joni Mitchell)

  25. Warlandoboom

At least we got crazy eyes Nash meme before he left. What a legacy

  26. shivermetimbers68

I once fired a guy, handed him his final check, and he said “Thank you! You’re doing me a favor!”

I sense that was Nash’s response

  27. Vanish_7

The dude is all class, always.

Nash didn’t deserve this shit. Fuck KD, and *fuck* Kyrie*.*

  28. Say what you want but Steve has class, unlike others in the Nets organisation

  29. This whole saga makes it feels like it could have been a drama on TNT. Because TNT knows drama.

  30. EstablishmentCold201

He’s honestly an idiot for even taking this job lol.

  31. Powpowpowowowow

Ok the outburst from the game the other night makes complete sense now. You could tell something was bothering him.

  32. SmilesUndSunshine

No excuses for Nash to condemn anti-Semitism now. Right?
