If it’s enforced, it’ll make Draymond’s job on the defensive end that much easier.

Not even just guards, tons of wings and bigs get away with it too. KD is one of the worst offenders

Supposedly an email went out about putting emphasis on it. Kerr admitted that the calls they made were ones where poole was carrying but that the league needs to make sure they call it for everyone.
no one is going to question if these are right calls. poole carrie’s a lot but like draymond said everyone in the nba carries.
the league better have the same energy the next time ja steps on the court (cause he’s by far the biggest perpetrator of carrying and traveling).
same applies for lebron, giannis etc. if the league doesn’t call a single carry on ja then we have a problem

I love that he made a point of implying that Poole had been essentially singled out and targeted when he said Lowry and Butler do it all the time too but Martin was the only one called for it on their side and just once. Poole being made a point of was obvious to anyone that watched but for Dray, and him specifically of the warriors, to have Poole’s back (in a sound bite that will surely be circulated widely on social media if/when talk about the new policy makes its rounds throughout nba media) and say as much is awesome to see and something I’m sure Poole appreciated. Dray is just stating facts obviously but recent events are what make it something to point out
