Dlo was a -20 and you could feel every minute of that

Que up the Cam Johnson draft thread

  3. urfaselol

The suns are a well oiled machine. They needed Johnson and Bridges to take a step to contend this year and it looks like they did.

Teams worse than the Adelaide 36ers:

    -Phoenix Suns

    -Los Angeles Lakers

    -Dallas Mavericks

    -Los Angeles Clippers

    -Golden State Warriors

    -New Orleans Pelicans

    -Houston Rockets

    -Minnesota Timberwolves

  5. Timberwolves have a PnR defense problem with KAT and Gobert on the floor. Come playoffs, they’ll have to deal with many more PnR maestros than just Chris Paul including Steph, Luka, Dame, and LeBron.

Also it’s kind of nuts how crisp and disciplined the Suns are on offense. Everyone’s constantly looking for that extra pass, rotation, and better shot.

  6. ghost91372

Either the wolves need to run a lot more PnR or they need to trade dlo

Bridges and Johnson’s(and Ayton but he’s out) offensive development this year has been so noticeable. CP3 is basically the 5th scorer in the offense right now which allows him to just focus on setting people up.

  8. beatrailblazer

Bismack Biyombo outplayed KAT and Gobert in 2022

  9. DirksSexyBratwurst

KAT was so much worse than his statline

  10. HesiPullup

Thank you for those garbage time points KAT, you won me 120 bucks 🙏

Also, Minnesota really needs to figure out what to do when KAT gets double teamed, it really seemed to disrupt their offense

  11. Alive-Ad-4164

People actually thought that suns were going to be done

  12. Kind_Development708

How is a team with KAT and Gobert starting not feasting vs a teams big man rotation that is Biyombo, Cam Johnson and Jock Landale????

  13. mrsunsfan

The Suns are 6-0 since I lost $600 buying tickets to Panic at the Disco

Man I enjoy cheering for the wolves. But how they gave up 5 firsts for Rudy is absolutely backbreaking. What a disaster that’s going to turn out to be.

  15. I don’t really miss Jae Crowder right now lmao. Hopefully we get a great bench piece back (like Bogdan)

  16. bageltheperson

My first look at the Kat/Gobert pairing was underwhelming

  17. thehydrastation

I’m going to have nightmares about Mikal* Bridges and Cam Johnson.

I’ll awake, relieved that I am safe from them. Then Bismack Biyombo will swat me in the face.

Edit: Apologies to Mikal for my dumb brain. Fuck Miles Bridges.

  18. jnicholass

You just know Paul is gonna lose sleep over that TO

  19. Gyroflex

Deangelo Russel is genuinely a bottom 5 PG in the NBA. Does absolutely nothing and we look 1000% better with j-mac

  20. Instantcoffees

Bridges is one of the best off-ball players in the league and also really good on the defensive end. He’s the glue of this team, seriously underrated player.

  21. notafan1

I thank Monte for making the score somewhat close by playing those all bench units.

  22. lebron_games

Chris Paul must look at KAT like an idiot when KAT is on defense. He honestly looked bored as shit carving up the wolves defense when he came back in the 4th

  23. Disappointed in the bench, but also thankful that they allowed me to witness Cam Johnson unleashed. I can’t wait to see how we replace Jae, I’m ok with the patient approach but I can only F5 for so long.

Also what a terrible post game interview lol

  24. arealPointyBoy

kat throwing entry passes to ant in the post aint right

  25. Whit3boy316

Someone explain to me why the wolves were fouling in the past minute of the game when they were down 10+.

  26. GragasBodySlam

Cam Johnson is going to get fucking paid

  27. “The Suns signed Bismack Biyombo to a minimum contract. The Wolves traded 4 first round picks for Baguette Biyombo”

  28. I won’t forget this sub acting like Cam and Mikal were bums during the off season. Both are elite 3 and D wings but can do more than shoot 3s.

  29. TraeCartoon

Minnesota will be much tougher later this year when they figure out the rotations/schemes with Gobert. Happy we got a win against them early.

Suns still need another solid scorer to be a true championship contender, that could be Cam Johnson like we saw tonight. But even with a declining CP3 we’re still right there up at the top.

  30. breakrick

Mikal Bridges’s steals make me feel alive again.

  31. Butterfly_Scape

it’s too early to say whether or not that gobert trade was a bad move but it annoys me how much that fucked up the trade market during the off season

  32. AccomplishedRainbow1

KAT dropped a super nice 24-10-7 line and was absolutely terrible. Crazy.

  33. RemembertheAlamo99

Seems like a lot of people kinda wrote the Suns off after what happened in the WCSF and over the off-season, but man they look just as good as last year. Not sure why Cam wasn’t starting over Jae last year honestly. Dudes a bucket. Phoenix has a great squad, I think they’ll go real deep this year, which I also thought last year and got burned. Wolves made it close in the 4th at least. This team needs some time to figure it out.

  34. Suns ruined wolves 85 game streak of 10+ forced TOs

  35. NC_Vixen

    DARIO IS BACK.

    5 minutes, 1/1 from 3, 1 assist, 1 steal, 3 rebounds.
