Usually I'd say we are only two weeks in the season & we need to relax but some things you can tell right away. The Nets aren't going anywhere & I felt this way two months ago because they have zero leadership & Irving is honestly a cancer. Kyrie does have his share of blame, but also Ben Simmons hasn't shown up, and also the construction of this roster is faulty. When Yuta Watanabe, a late offseason pickup for the last open roster spot, is showing up and playing hard on every possession and getting the minutes, respect, and playing in crunch situations for the past few games – the heart of competing and playing gritty is not evident in the key players. I love the Nets, and in the perfect situation and some certain players are movable, I wouldn't be shocked to see either Kyrie or Ben Simmons traded in package with one of the three guard shooters like Harris/Mills/Curry for an athletic big, without trading young assets like Cam Thomas or a draft pick like when they did to get Harden a few years back. But that is, if a team is willing to take on Kyrie or Ben.
