That’s a bad loss idc what you say. Horrible loss

  3. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

CJ is not the #1 option and he needs to stop playing like it

  4. Pelicans_Got_Next

If only Dyson made 1 of those fts. Oh well

  5. SpeedracerFr44d

No bullshit, this game ruined my night

  6. dr__spectro

Worst game of the year so far. And I have to be up for work in the morning

    Fuck.

Jose and Dyson got us back in it with their energy. We needed their level heads and energy at the end. Tough loss, but I’m going to look forward to getting the Kingram back in the lineup.

Boy if this one isn’t ever a teachable moment. EVERYONE has something to MARKEDLY improve on today. Be better.

Lakers down 3 foul with 1 second left: we miss two free throws and they got one more chance

Pelicans down 3 with 5 seconds left: doesn’t foul

They didn’t want it. The lakers played with more effort the entire game and deserved it. The comeback was fine but this was a game we deserved to lose

Oh man the tape will be great for the guys on this one. Boxing out is a non negotiable. Trey got to stop falling asleep. Costly from Dyson obviously but then we ran out of steam. Zion driving into their only.2 defenders on a 5 on 2..plenty to take from it. Onto the next game with bi back.

Jonas is dominant in the first quarter and then barely plays the rest of the game including not a minute in the 4th or OT….

Trey is a confident and elite shooter, but you cannot shoot 30+ footers so casually when you’ve missed every single attempt you made before. Obviously, he was not the main issue, but that was another thing of many that pissed me off this game.

This was the loss of a young team, tonight. A lot of good opportunities to learn and coach up after this one.

Here’s my mental gymnastic– instead of learning lessons over several losses, we’re learning all our lessons in one. So much tape to watch for the team this game alone.

Dyson Daniels, wow. Could’ve iced those losers but granted them a second chance. We didn’t even have our best player either. But wow, how do you miss both of those free throws? Insane.

I’ve never felt worse watching a basketball game from start to finish. That performance is making my stomach wretch.

Awful basketball from the very beginning to the bitter end. This is one of the rare times where I genuinely and literally feel like I just wasted 3 hours of my life and it’s harrowing.

The easiest fixable mistake would’ve been putting in rebounders during Dysons free throws. Like cmon Willie how could you not do that? There was no reason not to put in rebounders and every reason to do so. Sure Lakers probs still woulda got the rebound put it would’ve been a contested rebound that could’ve taken half a second off the clock. Bone head moves all around but this is the one that frustrates me the most.

Guys. Relax and get a little perspective. We are still down Herb and BI, and just went 2-2 in our last 4. Everyone had a bad night. We played our hearts out. It happens.

  19. If Dyson isnt in the gym shooting 1000 free throws after that then I dont know what the fuck he is doing.

  20. XviiChong

HOW DID DYSON NOT MAKE AT LEAST ONE FREE THROW BRO 😭

  21. afriendlyspider

Did our coaches just not tell them to defend the fucking 3pt line at the end of the game???

  22. SpaceAfricanJesus

    So many things went wrong.

JV was 3/11 and became unplayable in the 2nd half.

CJ and Trey go 1-11 from 3, CJ had an AWFUL shooting night.

Lakers go on a 12-0 run with 2 minutes left in the first half. Pelicans ended regulation with at least 1 timeout, could’ve used one there.

Lastly, Dyson could’ve ended the game with just 1 out of 2. I get that he’s a rookie but you gotta come up with 1.

There’s more but damn this is frustrating. Especially when you’re down BI and Herb to go to 5-2 and let it slip away. Pretty poorly coached game from Willie as well.

  23. Hardest loss to take in a long time. Two missed free throws, guarding the paint and not fouling to stop the three with a second left. It was harder to lose than win..

  24. Leadingusalong

Also, the fact is there are currently 15 other problems with this team that BI’s return alone isn’t gonna fix. Herb will help with the defense but he can only do so much, we looked like headless chickens all night and that’s been consistent all year.

BI is the only steadying offensive force on the team so it’s obvious we need him back. But it’s just disappointing we have all this talent and still only 1 person we can truly rely on.

Pathetic loss on every front. And to the absolute last team that we want getting a battery in their back right now. This is the kind of loss even this early on you’ll regret majorly down the line…

Dyson played well just had a rookie moment but CJ bro you don’t need to take 30 fucking shots.
