  1. Even Steph or Klay went to the G League. If Kuminga doesnt respond well to this he is wrong in the NBA

  2. Warrior needs to try putting wiseman and kuminga on starting line up to learn and get some confidence. Then Klay and looney 2nd unit so klay can get enough time to get the ball and shoot while Klay getting some time to regain his balance, legs and power in shooting and defense.Wiseman needs to make quick decisions on catching the ball if there is no dunk, just use the backboard or put it down fake or 1 dribble and take the shot if no shot quick decisions to pass it out. Warriors sometime when someone is to shoot they just stand to their ground, no chance to get rebounds. Wiseman and kuminga should always run and jump to rebound go to the box lane and get a great position to rebound.Lets go Warriors.

  3. They replaced the Donte minutes with Jerome, where is the problem? Would you complain about Donte taking the minutes Cyrus?

  4. ty jerome is in there because at least he can hit wide open 3s, which clearly kuminga can not

  5. The problem with kuminga is he does not know how to play. I dont know if it is the system or how he feels about he should play but i think that he always seems to not be in synch with the others guys in the court.

You have to consider also that his 1st year, he got a ring.
Yes he was not one of the guy who helped the team to win but mentally he thinks that he has done the job.

The kid can become a great player but what would seperate him to the others, it is his mindset.

  6. You're wrong about Dubs and how they utilize point guards, Good Cyrus. A point guard has responsibilities beyond bringing up the ball. Kuminga will not provide an outlet in the half court. He will not catch the ball with the intent of swinging it. He will not be the first man back on defense. He is not a point guard. This positionless basketball idea is a little bit of a stretch. The Warriors have always had and needed a roster with three point guards. The Dubs have impacted and brought change to the game, but they haven't erased the fundamentals of the point guard position and the need for one on the floor.

  7. My thoughts I'm tired of hearing about the guy Kuminga! Sure rest of team is also tired of babysitting a manchild.
Like it or not send the guy to the G League for the season let him enjoy the roller coaster ride on the beach if still there. There are 14 others on the team!

  8. I want JK to get more minutes too, but he is not a guard. Chiozza did not play because he was too short, could not defend, and sucked. One of our biggest unfulfilled needs the last couple seasons is a true back up point guard to run the 2nd unit. Why do you think the Dubs wanted Patty Mills and Goran Dragic? The Dubs see a potential Shawn Livingston 2.0 (who can shoot 3's) in Jerome. Honestly, JK's minutes would be primarily those taken by J. Green. There are also some minutes to be had from Klay (Wiggs plays the 2 and JK the 3), Dray, and Looney (JK as a small ball 5). Not a lot of minutes there, but some you could give him. Kerr is correct that it is difficult finding minutes for all these guys. You have to manufacture minutes for JK. When Dray leaves after this season, the minute problem will be solved. I do think Kerr still struggles with the dual track. He is impatient with the young guys and yanks them quickly when they make a mistake. The other night Wise got 3 quick fouls in the 1st quarter and we never saw him again. Why? The young guys have to be permitted to play through their mistakes and learn. Kerr is loathe to permit this and that is part of the problem.

  9. kuminga is 19. He will be ok. Have noticed the entire team except for Steph is out of sink right now. once the team settles kuminga will shine.

  10. Jonathan Kuminga is fine and in a great situation. He’s only 20 and Cyrus how many teams have you ever coached on a NBA level? I trust the process of the current staff. This show has regressed to being a rumor mill and scapegoating over reporting what’s going on with the team. 😊

  11. Cyrus! You are being very bold to keep harping on Kuminga DNP. There definitely seems to have been faction in the org that is thumbs down on Kuminga's potential and it is very sensitive since it is entangled with the anti-Draymond sentiment that has been there for a while and now even stronger. Recall that when Draymond went into back rehab last January he strongly recommended that Kuminga take his starter spot, with the goal of developing him as a reliable defensive stalwart since he had the athleticism and size to star in that role. Kerr agreed and announced it formally. Poole and supporters were chagrined and campaigned successfully to overturn Draymond's recomendation and feature JP while Dray was out. This season, without GP2 or Otto, and no strong alternative deeply integrated there is weakness on the defensive end. Kerr is scrambling to recreate championship defence with a bench mainly of newbies not much experienced or integrated into the warriors defensive system. Draymond has thrown his hands up with cryptic remarks about "the offence is killing the defense." Getting back championship defensive performance and team cohesion will require reps, reps and more reps with the newbies and inexperience rookies. Kerr seems to accept this, but he might yet find another magical Otto Porter who has hugely relevant experience, perfectly fits the Warriors system and will join for Vet Minimum.
