Thibs and Randle is a bad combination, one or both have to go. Many of the players are shaky, Knicks need a big trade of several players
Are you delusional the knicks suck Why would you even give the Knicks credit for a 23 point lead when they lost by double digits? And the only person to blame is thibs no one else!!! It bad coaching and not defending the 3 point line …we are soft team !!! And We keep letting team push us around !!! we need to toughen up and start punching other team in the mouth
Wasn't pleased how we started the 3rd quarter and was shocked that Thibs just stood there with his arms folded and didn't call a TO until the Hawks had taken the lead. I've watched numerous Duke games where the Blue Devils started the half flat and Coach K would immediately call a TO after the first couple of lazy, boneheaded plays, but no, not Thibs. Thibs just stands there with a shocked look on his face. And let's be honest. It isn't just one player stinking things up. Money Mitch can't stay out of foul trouble. Randle continues to show us he has zero basketball IQ and that two years ago was definitely the outlier. RJ is off to another one of his horrid starts. Fournier still can't play D and being paired with JB is a disaster. And we are seeing that while he is a more than a willing defender, JB does have his limitations.
They needed stops and Thibs sat Robinson way too long

What's criminal is that there is a gentleman out there who would change the dynamic of this team and bring in a change of direction rather quickly.He continues to be black balled by the NBA and it's very unfortunate because it was his coaching that put the Golden State Warriors in the position they are in today.Mark Jackson who is a natural born leader should be the coach of the New York Knicks,period!
This past week was proof how Leon Rose blew this offseason. Not trading for Mitchell or Dejounte Murray was a disaster. The lack of a star on this team has been very apparent.
Brunson should have been dominating the ball in the second half, we need way less Tragic Johnson (Randle) ball handling.

I only got to watch the first quarter and some of the second. By the time I got back to the game, it was close to the end of the third, and the game was tied. 👀! Heartbreaking, to say the least.
I've always thought that Thibbs wasn't the guy for this job. Everyone says that he has a proven track record. But, he hasn't won anything. Where's the proof? What I hear and what I'm seeing aren't lining up. Maybe Thibbs is a good coach! I just don't think that this is the right situation for him right now. We should just part ways just like the Nets did with Nash. Only black coaches get fired, like Mark Jackson. Who has actually proven to be able to coach and develop a young team. I'm not trying to make this a black and white thing, but it's true. You can check the records with any team in the league.
I'm afraid the Knicks wont change much until the following occurs:
1) Thibs is replaced. (Unforgivable to lose 23 point lead)
2) IQ or Grimes moved to the starting SG position (Fournier is too streaky)
3) Randle is traded (TO machine)
4) RJ starts the season shooting well. (WTH? He doesnt shoot well until after the All Star game)
5) Toppin becomes a better rebounder! (Maybe Barkley could mentor him)
6) Draft or Sign a player that is a top 10 player. (Does the Knicks have a top 30 player?)
He has to go he is out dated he’s only good for standing on the side line yelling
This team will not make the playoffs no commitment to defense. The crappy Hawks played better defense than the Knicks in the second half. Really pathetic . They rarely seriously contested the 3 point line.
WHY IS RANDLE SHOOTING THE TECHNICAL FREE THROW THAT TELLS ME THAT A PLAYER IS NOT SELF AWARE OF THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES. HE SHOULD HAVE LET A BETTER FREE THROW SHOOTER SHOOT THAT SHOT AND THAT'S WHY HE KEEPS TRYING TO DRIBBLE NO SELF AWARENESS

His stubborn blind loyalty to Fournier and Randle will cost him another job. Fournier should be playing 10 minutes a game and coming off the bench! You cant have two guards who cant cover my mother! Cant management see Randle is not a winning player. His lack of defense and help on the boards is laughable!

Hard nosed defense seems to be Brunson's kryptonite. Until he learns to deal with that, teams are going to blitz him with tough defenders. He did not see a lot of Eastern Conference D in the West. Get ready for Marcus Smart and Boston. He's going to see more of the same and worse.
