He pulled up like he was going to shoot a halfcourt runner after the whistle had blown; there was still almost 2s in the clock. I don’t think JB had enough time to get all the way to the rim, but honestly it was close, and it would have been a baller way to win.

It happens to every team, no doubt. Shaqtin a fool exists for a reason. But damn, it feels like our shaqtin moments come at the most critical times.
And to be clear, I love JB. JB had 30 pts and kept us in it. But damn…..a few more seconds on that final throw in could have got us a better shot. No idea where his head was at there. so many of our players have brain farts.
I’m not angry or worried though, 4-3 start and 2 extremely close OT losses that could have went either way. Refs were out of control in some of them too. Too many people hitting the panic button. I was willing to give Ime 41 games to adjust, and look what he did. Joe gets the same courtesy in my book.

Only Tatum, Smart, and the coach knew about needing to call a timeout right away in this situation not even Al was aware lol. This is actually embarrassing on Jaylen’s part to be a vet in this league and having gone to multiple deep playoff runs.
