Great episode. Two points struck me in particular: 1) the Raptors have to play with exceptional energy to win games convincingly; I hope they learned a lesson from their second game against the Phillies. 2) people most easily blame coaching, but no one can coach strong characters like KD and Kyrie; it makes me count our blessings for not having KD, and for having a coach like Nick Nurse that has total buy-in from his team.
Not a diss against FVV, but the starting line-up with Koloko is looking really good! …Just saying… He doesn't overwhelm you with stats, but he was a +30 last night–all while only scoring 4 pts. He may not be an exceptional scorer(yet), but everyone else on the floor with him seem to be having monster games, so he's gotta be doing something right! N'est-ce pas? I'm just so glad our deep bench players were afforded some much needed floor time. Everyone got to eat–which was nice to see. It's so refreshing to see Raps players making their goddamned FTs! Keep it up Raps!!! We the North!!!
