OG will make the All Defensive team for sure and if he continues to be this ferocious on defence for 90% of the season then he’ll definitely be top 5 in DPOY list considering Mikal Bridges was 2nd last year😤🔥
Ngl I didn’t think og could even get better on defence being soooo good already, but ngl he has turned it up with the ability to take the ball without fouling is shades of the KLAW snatching the rock clean like a beast
I think the injures is what keep’s him from winning defensive player of the year. OG has missed a lot of game’s. Remember he missed more game’s than Kawhi in the Championship season. If he can stay heathy this season then I can see him being in the mix to win it.

I always in the #BelieveBen camp about OG's handles lol. But I always said OG kryptonite are those injuries. If he can play 60 games I say he in top 3 to win DPOY. AvailAbility is always the greatest Ability.
And for all those NBA 2k16 fans crying cuz we traded 1st rnd + Dragic + 'higher aspirations' for 2nd rnd + Daddyeus… That means we traded the GROAT KLow for a favourable sign and trade, Precious, Daddeus and Koloko.
That being said, Walker Kessler was the only C chosen between 21 and 29 which was where Raps 1st rnd selection was projected. So we can compare notes at end of season to see if we could done better than KoNoNoNo!!

He might win it if Raptors stays top in the East and if he add 2 blks average a game. Coupled with maybe 3 steals a night, he will win it. On Siakam, He is finally listening to me. I wrote him last season that he's natural triple double type of player like Luka, Lebron, Jokic, Westbrook and Draymond. You don't need to score 30pts a night, just 20-25pts/12ast/11reb. That will be your easiest way to gain respect in this league and a superstar status. If he continues like this, he will receive supermax next yr.
Van Vleet should come off the bench when he comes back. It’d give him more rest and give the bench a spark. Starting lineup the last couple of games looks great!
Just remember raptors fans this is why OG is a keep and fred is a trade.
If OG keeps up his present numbers he should absolutely be in the top contenders for defense player of the year. By the same consideration could we have another ROTY in Koloko? Maybe not on a pure scoring level (so far) but if you factor in all the other things maybe…. love the respect from Pop.
He's always had a good read on us be nice if the rest of the league, ESPN, ETC. followed suit.
When we run and gun and defend the way we do we are very difficult to beat. If the other side slows the pace down then we have Freddie who can take over and chess master the court.

We are building a championship team. We need the bench players to step up every game and Nurse should ease up the starter minutes. Pascal will select for the All-Star game and seasonal MVP. Fred gets back to their All-Star performance; OG belongs to the All-Defensive team. Scottie and Gary are All-Star nominees.

The last athletic center the Raptors had in my opinion was Marcus Camby. Teams the Raptors need to put a mark on Celtics,Cavs,Bulls,Heat,Mavs, Warriors,Suns,Pelicans,Nuggets,Sixers,Clippers,Bucks. As for FV he’s fine in the starting lineup but him off the ball is better for him so he’s not taxed while in the game. So basically the Raptors facing teams that are picked to go to the NBA finals over them should tell you how far along they are as team in the present and in the future of the franchise.
