If we’re looking for cheap front court depth Jay Huff is a free agent. He’s 7’1 / 240, shoots 39% from three, excellent in the pick and roll, 40% on P&R jumpers, and he spaces.the floor very well. His weakness with the Lakers was his D. Was that a Huff problem or a Lakers problem? He played at UVA. Tony Bennett’s players play D. They have to or they don’t play. He averaged 2.8 blocks per game and was on the All-ACC defensive team. The Lakers are a mess. At the very least I think he could be a low risk medium reward guy.
