The defense has been on point so far this year. And when Pat/Khris get back, I swear Bud better not cut Carter’s minutes… he is an absolute menace.

The only way that I’ve seen Giannis get beaten is when the 3point defense of the team fails him. He fights to get a basket or even a single point at every possession in late game situation and he gets back in defence and gets hit by a 3point shot. And again. The same story repeated with Toronto, with Miami and with the Celtics every time we lost in the playoffs.
If we can take that away from our opponents as a team and let them get close to the basket in late game situation, Giannis (and Brook) will just chew them alive. Good luck beating him near the basket in the last 2 mins.

It’s been only a few games so these numbers could change but I’m cautiously optimistic. Every playoff series we’ve been killed by three point shooting.
