[Chris Broussard] “I’ve talked to some people around the league. A week ago, the Clippers feared Kawhi had tendinitis. Now, there’s a fear that it’s worse.”

  1. I want to hear those same jokes for him like Anthony Davis

Edit – or stop with the AD jokes which is better for the world

  2. red_right_hand_

Now they fear he has super-tendinitis

  3. literallyacactus

Haven’t heard broussards name in a while. I liked it that way. Hope Kawhi is okay

  4. Lol why do we continue to post this guy after he got exposed for making up sources

  5. OrangeKookie

His knees probably cooked like kemba’s

  6. Pal__Pacino

On one hand… it’s Broussard. On the other hand… Kawhi’s health is a total enigma.

If nothing else, unless you’re LeBron, or joining an already established team
I think it’s starting to prove out the success rate of just grouping together some stars to form a team is not that great. You’re really fucked if something goes wrong.

  8. reliabletinman

Oh no, he’s going to need a dolphinoplasty

This insight was brought to you by multiple cans of sauces

  10. I think we all need to accept that Kawhi has no more peak basketball to give. He still might give some role play flashes down the road but being the dominating two way guy (or even one way anymore) is over. It’s over Johnny!

  11. Arthritis is my guess, that’s what got Gurley out of the league.

The Clippers have no fucking clue what’s going on with Kawhi because when he went there he demanded his own independent medical team and they gave it to him and now he doesn’t consult them on anything and doesn’t tell them anything.

Damn the Spurs docs looking more vindicated day by day

  14. callmearookie

bruh if only some qualified doctors in san antonio told him back in 2018…

If anyone recalls the 2019 Raptors title run, Kawhi looked very hobbled towards the end there. I think that run took a lot more out of him than a lot of people realized. He was definitely playing hurt in the Bucks series and the Warriors series. Something people gloss over is that in the closing moments of Game 6 in the finals, he didn’t get many touches in the 4th quarter.

Took only 4 shots in the 4th, missed all of them,. and had 2 points from free throws at the end and that was a close game right up until the closing seconds.

Player like that doesn’t do that unless their are some mitigating circumstances. I believe that run took a lot out of him. It was the last time Kawhi was really Kawhi and even during that year he had to sit out a bunch of games.

Hopefully he isn’t right in this instance. Knowing his track record, Broussard is usually wrong but even a broken clock is right twice a day

This is why I’ll always appreciate what he did for the Raps. Even though he knew he was only going to be there for one season, he did not stop giving his all during that playoff run. For sure he was hurt during the run, and he could’ve easily said, “My free agency is coming. Better dial it back.”

The clippers sold their franchise and entire future for a WCF appearance.

  19. CCJones56

Not sure why these teams keep paying injured players

  20. elseworthtoohey

Kawhi straight ran the clippers pockets. How Many games his this guy actually played in.

  21. iiivoted4kodos

Clippers fans, this is Chris Broussard. That means Kawhi’s fine

  22. jchavez9723

Trade this fool for Ben Simmons, Clippers could use some rebounding and defense

  23. possiblynotanexpert

For all intents and purposes, is it a wrap on the Kawhi that we’ve grown accustomed to? I hope not, but after the past few years it sure feels that way.

  24. LegitimateYogurt323

Fucking kill me. We traded Shai away for this bullshit
