The Utah Jazz dominated the Los Angeles Lakers and made LeBron James and Russell Westbrook look mostly helpless. At no point could the Lakers slow down Jordan Clarkson or Mike Conley who looked incredible for the Jazz. It’ll be interesting to see if the Lakers decide to make a trade because they’re not looking great. Westbrook has looked better off the bench but the Lakers just don’t look like they’re going to be able to win if they don’t make a move.

Has it ever occurred the Lakers might be tanking?

Let’s go all in and trade for KD! I heard the premise on the ringer.
But here’s an idea of how it could happen. If Brooklyn have to trade Kyrie due to his current issue (maybe trade him for Russ) or they have to suspend him for an extended period, then their season is going to be extra rough, when they are already struggling. They are not winning the title this year.
They also cannot tank or afford to miss the playoffs either as Utah have their 1st RD ‘23 draft pick from the Royce oneal trade.
If Kyrie is gone, maybe we give them a chance to rebuild and go for Wembanyama.
They send us Kevin Durant, we send them their 1st back, Beasley, THT, Agbaji and Gay and then as many picks from Cleveland and Minnesota to get the deal done.
Jazz would have the lineup:
Conley / Clarkson / Markkanen / KD / Vanderbilt
Sexton / Alexander-Walker / Fontecchio / Olynyk / Kessler
Could even do another trade to strengthen our bench. Title contenders?

I'm only on board with the Jazz making a trade if we do it to get better. Lakers need a lot of help, Conley isn't enough. Westbrook would never wear a Jazz uni. It sounds like you'd still rather the Jazz tank & the Lakers get better?
How can the Jazz expect a top 5 pick at the moment. Ainge has experience chasing draft standouts missing on Tim Duncan and Kevin Durant even though he had the best odds both times. He may have learned not to go all in on tanking. If you are lucky, you are lucky. If the right deals comes along that are too good to pass up, then I’m sure he will look at it.

Walker alone is better than Rudy and Lauri is a superstar. This is the best Utah Jazz team since the Stockton Malone years.
