He needs to take another break to Miami to recharge lol

  2. RubbleWestbrick

    They’re all short too

    His legs aren’t there

  3. huagadrist

LeBron looking human this season. Father time wins

  4. GetThereInOnePiece

Went from mid three point shooter to absolutely awful

    Skip was right

  5. WhenItsHalfPastFive

He’s better off passing while he’s struggling from three. He was throwing some decent passes in this game and the previous game, but when he’s holding the ball for too long and taking those threes, he’s just not hitting em

  6. HS941317

Lebron is not even a top 50 player in the league anymore. He’s sooooo washed right now

  7. SirThixcksAlot

They may have released that Father Time commercial too early.

  8. Law of averages will take care of this, but LeBron’s slump and Russ’s good games all came together. This is Christmas for Bron haters.

It’s pretty obvious he’s out of his prime at this point. This is not a Tom Brady situation where he can age well as a pocket passer and just stand there throwing to receivers all game long.

  10. FoesiesBtw

Honestly, I won’t be concerned unless this is happening 40 games from now.

  11. Vallerie_09

Took him a bit longer than Andre and Melo, but he’s washed. Get the scoring record and play for vet min for some young team that needs good/decent vets

Skip is erect by learning about this stat

I feel like a lot of them are terrible shots, either at the logo or a step back instead of driving to the rim.

    Lebron splits: 43.1/20.7/73.2

    Westbrook splits: 41.8/27.6/77.4

  15. The decline that should have happened 3 years ago is finally here. It’s truly remarkable how long Bron was able to hold it off

people’s epistemological certainty about something they can’t possibly know based off of a small sample size will never cease to amaze me.

You think Lebron becoming washed looks like a 15% drop in 3pfg% overnight? While the rest of his game is basically the same? Like he can still jump out of the building and he’s playing hard on defense but he just can no longer shoot, period? Has anyone else ever followed that pattern? Is it maybe possible that he’s just in a slump?

I swear Lebron’s shot form is the most inconsistent of any NBA great. It’s wild how it can look so different from shot to shot. Also seems to change slightly from season to season.

  18. sheeeeeez

People always talk about losing your athleticism as you get older but why does it seem like your ability to make jump shots falls off a cliff

  19. jeweltribe

He has definitely looked gassed the last few games. A lot of his shot attempts have been short

  20. I_think_were_out_of_

He looks like he lost too much muscle to me. He looks way smaller.

  21. Learningle

I really fucking hope this is just him being sick and out of shape. I get that he needs to regress at some point, but like I grew up with this man dominating the league and idk it’ll just be really fucking sad to see that change.

  22. Maybe he’s just going to retire and take over the AT&T commercials from Milana Vayntrub.

  23. HotdogIsaSandwitch

It’s alright, he’ll regress (more like progress) towards the mean.

  24. ryanjoseph55

He should workout with Kyle Korver again

  25. revolution149

People don’t get younger. There is not much else to say.

  26. NoWayNotThisAgain

Here’s what’s up. LeBron is finally old. Russ will take over, become the bus driver, and lead the Lakers to the WCF.

Because that’s the kind of insane fucked up drama filled season we’re having… and I’m here for it.

  27. AnalWarfare

Gonna announce he’s “Taking his talents to Hospice” next season…

  28. Bodiroga1987

Old man, end of story. Nature simply does its thing. Plus he additionally makes a worse impression with desperate shooting selection instead of more towards passing.

  29. daddyfatsaxxx27

Shannon may as well pay up that case of dew now

  30. green_and_green23

I really hope it’s a temporary slump, I’m not ready for an actual Lebron decline

  31. edwardfortehands

So glad we gave him an extension. Thanks Rob

  32. Making those “Lebron defeats father time” commercials probably wasn’t the best idea.

I haven’t watched the Lakers play this year, but I’m assuming that a lack of shooters and the resulting poor offensive spacing is a big part Lebron’s issues, in addition to natural skill decline. Am I close?
