From the very beginning, I've said the move to trade Westbrook was a sports media creation to generate clicks and likes. This proves my point. Even when the man is actually productive and the Lakers fans are supporting him like never before, the analytics lag reality, so the trope continues until the needle moves through the hate, crosses the point of ambivalence, and settles into full-fledged support.
