The Toronto Raptors are coming off of an offseason where they did make a single trade. Sure, many signings were made by Masai Ujiri’s front office with the free agent pick up of recent NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors Otto Porter Jr. and the retainment of players like Chris Boucher and Thaddeus Young. But this team clearly is missing something despite the positive 5-4 start to the season on could stand to improve especially with their bench. Some fans also believe that this team is stuck in the middle of nothing this season due to a lack of superstar firepower despite the outstanding start to the season for players like Pascal Siakam.

Anything is possible this year because of parity. That is the reason we should look to add another all star and bench player. We can win this year.

No shit, this is what ive always preached. We always needed continuity and not like everyone else relying on trades…that effectively resets the teams chemistry
They just need another ball handed type like Jordan clarkson and draft a shooting guard next season

Siakam literally cracked under the pressure last night. We need a player who can impose his will on the game at all costs ala Kawhi
@amateur hour sports masai was trying to get KD, didnt pan out. Whats left now, i think a developmental year where they see how far they can go. Why the raptors lost, siakam got hurt most importantly. Gary trent jr was also cold. And scottie barnes was not really on the scoreboard till 4th quarter. For this team to win all 5 starters have to score at least in the teens and boucher kicking in 10-20.
I dont think the raptors need a superstar, but 1-2 bench pieces that put points on the board so the starters dont have to play 40 minutes. Outside of boucher the bench has been trash. Also juancho hernangomez has been so bad, nurse wont play him. it would have been better to have signed DJ Wilson who looked like he fit better with raptors last year.

banton, flynn can't make it to be honest. thadd young also not scoring. this season is repeating of last season, pretenders and not contenders. lack of depth and quality to push over the top. i will trade precious, banton and 2 2nd round picks for SGA if thunder is ok with it.
