Russ can literally get 7 more years out of a roll like this I’m think manu Ginobli on crack once he stops shooting more than 2 3’s a game he’s a lock for 5 rebound and 7 assist and his athletic ability can get him at least 16 a game. He has the fire and grit and hof pedigree kudos to Darvin Ham now if they can get some shooter next season they may have a shot with russ being a weapon off the bench and a restructured contract next season

He played really well this game, but the Lakers choked the lead in the final minutes. This was as close to an undeserving win as you can get without any foul play such as things like bad calls. Hoping for the pelican's player to miss both free throws with 1.9 seconds left, getting the rebound, then hitting a 3 to tie to go into OT is not a win to be happy about. They have got to play better.
Coach ham is a genius, Russ coming off the bench has been so good for us. Shoutout to Russ for buying in 🔥

When you have two ball dominant players, it's good to integrate them at certain time frames… It's like the 4 x 4 relay taking turns handling the baton…
His natural role with this team is coming off the bench. It also gives him a chance to see how the opponents are playing and gives him the info he needs to know how to attack them…
Ginobili multiple championships wasnt in starting role, but he's in hof and Robert Horry 8 championship rings is not in hof. Russnobili will be in hof with no ring because he became mvp and avg 3ple double in more than one season. Barkley and Iverson, no ring but they are no doubt belong in hof, Russ is just playing for rings now and doesnt need to start to be happy. He will do well this year, but Lakers will be competing for his new contract next year, other teams will sign him two years good deal for him sacrificing starting position this year.
WESTBROOK COMING OFF THE BENCH IS PERFECT FOR THIS TEAM!!!! It’s made a huge difference for the Lakers IMO
