  1. Sean refs were already looking at the feet to make sure it was a 3pter. It's their job!

  2. Happy you’re okay Brendon. I had an accident where the offending car didn’t even hit my car, the stuff they were hitting (another car and street sign hit my car). She had insurance, but she got out of the car and said “I ain’t been drinking or smoking or nuthin.” Funny now, not then.

  3. The ref was looking at his feet and saw his foot was clear of the line but didnt realize he hopped to the left the hopped to the right without dribbling? Should b an easy wistle if ur job is to look at the players feet.

  4. 1. The Kings played alright defense on the road. Let's be real. In the past, when the opponent went on a run, they folded. They were getting torched earlier this season, but they limited the Heat to 110. The defense is better compared to the past.
    2. Brenden…..you say the Kings were not getting to the basket, but Monk and D Mitchell had many layups and easy ones too. Yeah….Fox is a completely different animal, but what they did was serviceable imo.
    3. The offense has been ok and I do like to see more pick n roll action, but it could be Mike wanting to establish his system and fall back to the p n r because they know that best. Also, in the past, the offense was so stagnant beyond comprehension, and there are times it sticks with Davion, but I do see a lot more action and open shots. They just need to hit them.
    4. One thing you need to notice is that the Kings have NOT folded easily like in the past. They have fought all the way to the end and I do appreciate this as a fan.
    5. The no-call when HB had a drive to the basket, then a no-call with the ref right in front of Herro are just inexcusable. That is their job and I do believe there is some major bias against the Kings. I'm happy Mike called it out and actually I wouldn't mind him getting a tech if this continues. It's getting ridiculous. Seriously!
    6. All in all, we all knew that when you get a bunch of new players, and a new coach, who wants to implement a new system, it is going to take time……I know they cannot lose many of these games, but I do see some significant change in this team. I love the mental toughness to fight all the way to the end and as a fan…..that's what I want to see. Hopefully, these tough games teach them some lessons and they work out their weaknesses and kinks and improve from there.
    GO KINGS!!!

  5. Sean – the problem is the ref is supposed to be looking at his feet to make sure his feet are behind the line. The ref raises his hand instantly saying its a 3 which means he's looking at his feet. Mike Brown saw it right away and he was further away and at a worse angle then the ref.

    I'd call that egregious.

Then to refer to fans who are talking about it literally the day after it happened as an "inferior complex" issue.
Bro you're out of pocket on that one.

    Be better my guy.

  6. Another fantastic installment of the pod, congrats on breaking into triple digits.

I’ve been encouraged by the team so far but the magic game will be a true test.

The rest of the league is sleeping on us like James in a screening of Black Adam, hopefully we can string some wins together and wake them up.

  7. I’m sorry Sean that’s a bad call, the referee was 8 ft away and he’s staring at his feet in order to call it a 2 or 3.

  8. I didn't see it in real time either but I'm not a PROFESSIONAL F-ING OFFICIAL WHO WAS MERELY A FEW FEET AWAY & GETS PAID A SALLARY TO DO THIS, Sean. Refs aren't just enthusiastic fans who won a contest or something my dude; they're professionals who should be evaluated as such.,

Edit: Just saw the Grant "game winner" which was WAY worse & definitely puts my previous gripes into perspective.

  9. Other team might get ‘short end of the stick’

but none this bad for this long. Total bullshit ! League needs to be accountable

  10. It’s way more important for Mike Brown to say something in the media than for him to get ejected. He said true things with a relatively level head so I think he did the right rhing

  11. Does sean still feel like jabari Smith jr is the only star of the draft?

  12. James, maybe stick with talking sports instead of getting into the complexities of the Kyrie situation. Not your bag. Like the pod, Go Kings

  13. The hard thing with the Herro shot was that the ref saw his feet set , started to raise his hand for a 3 on the pump fake and then raised his hand again on the shot while watching his feet
he had to recognize he had moved forward like 2 feet

  14. How do you focus on kyrie for 15 minutes but sprinkle the discussion with 60 seconds of Mike's bridges? That says a lot about the condition of this country as a whole. Words can't hurt . Violent athletes can. C'mon yal
