Surprised by the defense.
Plenty of room on the Andrew Nembhard fan bus. It seems Rick wants to run 2 bigs in the base lineup but will make any adjustment necessary in the 2nd half to address foul trouble or counter opponent adjustments.
Bickerstaff & the Cavs do NOT cave & accommodate these small ball teams—they stay big and make the other team make adjustments—& look at their record! Carlisle did everything to lose that game & if Herro wouldn’t have missed last shot, Miami would’ve won a game the Pacers should’ve won handily. Playing three point guards may get you decent perimeter defense but “the offense was atrocious”—and benching Haliburton for Nembhard at the end of any close game is asinine!
I'll miss Duarte.
