Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on LeBron: “Just watching the games, it just looks like there’s no basketball over there. It’s just playing pickup. It’s hard to watch sometimes. So from me to him, just get the team together, and I just want to see that spark in him again.”

Cant believe we traded bread from heaven ffs

Facts. Other teams literately run the same actions every game. The Jazz are going to kick our ass with basic actions today. Down screens, back screens, and slips.

Meanwhile we barley do any of those. Mostly because our best 2 players can’t move without the ball because of age and injuries. Bron would be gassed by the 3rd quarter while AD would be injuries by the 2nd quarter if they tried moving without the ball. That’s why they both look slow compared to other stars.

It’s because he knows he can’t win and have no spacing. With age creeping in on top of everything

  4. LeBron has made a career out of making the right basketball decision on the floor, but there are too many doors closed for this team. The paint is packed so he cannot bully ball to the basket. He can’t kick it out to guys shooting 20% with open looks. He’s too old to consistently create a good open look for himself.

There are no good options. This team has broken the machine.

  5. I got that same vibe from this season and the last one. It looks like the entire team is just there to pick up a paycheck while the opposing team is licking their chops at the opportunity to destroy us. This is much more depressing to watch than the tanking years.

At this age, LBJ shoots a lot of outside shots because he is conserving energy. The only problem is his outside shooting is deteriorating with his age. Same for his defense. He’s 38 and on his last legs. This team is DOA and the Lakers have to rebuild ASAP. Better to watch a group of young guys develop than a bunch of old guys fade away.

Idk if we’re playing pickup this year… the team is running more set plays for sure. Unfortunately, the talent and shotmaking just isn’t there.
