The Raptors beat the Raptors today, they gave 0 effort for 3 and a half quarters and only cared at the end when it was too late.
Highlight of the game was when Chris Boucher off the Heezy it off Dragic head.
Pascal is sorely missed in games like this.
On to the next one.

This felt like more of the type of game I expected to see with Pascal gone. FVV did just enough offensively to win us last game with our defence giving us elite stretches of play as well. Today the bulls got more offensive firepower with Lavine and our offense couldn’t make up for it
The bench still can’t create offense, like at all. Banton just dribbles the ball up the court, hands it off, and goes to stand around somewhere. Thad and Otto aren’t gonna create offense, juancho is a pylon, precious and Boucher are bigs but not instant offensive production. Honestly I wouldn’t even mind Flynn or even Dowtin getting a shot. Like you just need somebody that can dribble the ball and get a shot off, why not?
GTJ and scottie really need to step up for this team to stay afloat with Siakam gone. FVV can only give us so much as a defacto number 1 option when he’s 5’10. Either those guys step up in bigger roles that many have been waiting to see them in, or this teams gonna struggle

It would be nice to have some perimeter depth on this roster. Flynn and Banton are borderline-unplayable. The rest of the bench can barely handle the ball. OPJ is just someone you park in the corner on offense.
But this year is more about finding out what you have in this “core” and who to go forward with. Hopefully the young guys develop and I’m sure the team will look quite different next year.

Rough game – Raptors defense plays tough and is good at punishing errors, but is completely undisciplined. Your rotations need to be smart and game-planned – this was a really bad showing on the defensive end. Any team that protects the ball well will outplay you.

2. Scottie is clearly in pain. We should consider shutting him down to heal.
