The #10 Wolfpack looked every bit of a top-ten team against the Bobcats, cruising to a dominant 82-45 victory in the opener at Reynolds. NC State dominated defensively, holding Quinnipiac to 33% shooting and forcing 21 turnovers. Jada Boyd, Camille Hobby, and Jessica Timmons each finished in double figures for the Wolfpack.
