I'm a Mavs fan from New Zealand so normally don't follow any Aussies but loving Josh Green at the moment, hope he continues to grow. I think out of all the youngsters (25 n under)in this squad he could have the highest ceiling (besides luka obviously).He's super athletic and always goes 100%, ok at 3's but hopefully improving, good defender who could become great. Will fit really well with luka, I think in a few years could become a super version of finney-smith.

Let's not disrespect other teams by saying that the Mavs should've won this normally and other games. Let's not assume that the Mavs will always win. All NBA teams can win against the Mavs. So the Mavs deserve a pat on the back on every win. Josh Green is proving he can be reliable. Dwight Powell also brings stability when in the game.
NBA is African American sport…unfortunately for some people it's tough to accept that you got a white artist that does it better then an African American.Whoever you feel like is best basketball player and stand em face to face in a basketball court and he'll eat that player alive … it is what it is ….

Man 1 Thing about game is Dodo dumbo did everything he could to Lose us this game!!! At time he looks lost on the court! He has the "Where am I" look and starts looking like he's never played basketball! And the Referee's look like there corrupt as usual! Man between the terrible passes across court that never had a chance to make it there and were stolen and turned into points for the Nets!!! What team is he on? Sometimes it's hard to tell! He needs to learn how to pass, dribble and slam the ball when he gets a chance to and Not go up like a cheerleader and do a soft finger roll and hole his skirt don't go up! Slam that shit like a Man not loke a Woman!!! Bullock still can't shoot, Maxi afraid to shoot! Josh Green needs more time!!!! We need to replace Reggie & Dodo with 2 way players who have some offensive skills!!

At halftime, KD shot 20 shots from each of the spots where he took them in the game. I didn’t see him miss. Others on both teams had no focus or plan.

Okay so I know this is something fans always complain about, but I have a beef with reffing. And not necessarily against just Dallas.
I feel like the NBA intentionally decides timeframes in a game when one team gets the calls heavily and it swings. Mavs came out cold, and got behind. We hit a hot streak, and a lot of calls were going our way, we end up taking the lead. 3rd quarter comes around, and another slow start but it again seems like calls are in our favor. Then in the 4th, the calls start going against us hardcore. Like VERY ticky tacky calls, offensive fouls like crazy, we can't stand too close to them defensively, and they are literally arm wrestling our guys on shots without calls. Bam Brooklyn is back in the game, and took the lead. Then they soften up the calls on their end and some more go in our favor to close it out.
It just seems really odd how the swing of the games usually is one team hitting the brakes because several bad calls come out and kill all momentum and thereby causes bad plays. And honestly it's not even hidden very well. I feel like all of these close Mavs games have had this exact same script, its why we have these awful 4ths. If you notice, that's when a lot of early fouls happen, then our guys are playing flustered and nervous and that's when bad posessions happen.
It's making the game feel disingenuous, and I don't like that.
Durant post game about being tripled teamed is crap. Dorian didn’t double Durant in the 1st half really . And the court optix stats are clear about who is the most doubled and I don’t see Durant on that top 5 list…

I was at the game. I was impressed by Kevin Durant. He picked up Luka full court for much of the second half. Getting into it with Josh Green and Theo Pinson is a little beneath a player of his stature, but I loved the competitive fire he showed on both ends of the court
