Best trade I've ever seen for both teams was the Cavs/Jazz deal. Within a few years they may meet in the finals. Executive of the year is a toss up: Altman or Ainge. I've been a fan since the 70s and never watched a more interesting start to the season. (Thanks for covering basketball, too much coverage has been given to the dysfunctional Nets)

Your fair and respectful critique of Patrick Williams was missing in the "he's not good at basketball" Lauri Markkanen slandering that elicited such blowback from even non Jazz/Cavs like myself. Whether you end up being right or wrong, there's always a way to evaluate without the extra helping of sneering condemnation that turns so many people off. I appreciate you owning it, but I'd rather that tone be banished from hoops discourse than watch pundits "eat crow."
