Stats do lie. The reason Lakers is struggling is because he cheats on defense to get his points.
If he scored less and put actual effort into defense like Kobe/Duncan he wouldn’t only have 4 rings despite playing with stacked rosters for the past decade plus.
This is a stacked roster that was championship favorite start of last season. When the leader of the team doesn’t play defense, how can you expect role players to play defense?

Does Davis suck now because of injuries or does he just legit not give a fuck anymore? A few years ago he looked like a Top 3 player in the league. He should be out there dominating and letting Lebron become his pippen.
