For the record I think this is 🧢

But I wanted to share it anyway to see what everyone else thought.

Ugh… I usually just let these go but this one bothers me a little. Yeah, it’s probably just a random GM spouting off and it’s not Shai, but it is Sam Amick who is very credible.

I know Shai just signed and has said he knows what he’s in for with the rebuild, but losses like last night can get very demoralizing. Just like winning fixes everything, losing can expose a lot of flaws and turmoil.

He’s not a Free agent until 2027 so good luck with that lol

He just signed a max contract and doesn’t have leverage to force a trade 🤷

We don’t need to blindly dismiss like we did with KD. The team has lost a lot and Shai is clearly coming into his prime. I don’t doubt he’s frustrated at times.

There’s no way he wouldn’t wait at least til Chet came back

I just deleted a long-ish draft about the bad SGA trade ideas in the subs that I may have to rewrite at some point soon

I’m frustrated watching this team and we’re 10 games in. Some good developments with new guys but shai is too good… He’s playing at a win now level.

I’m trying to get to a point where I won’t let these bother me anymore. We know they aren’t going to go away, and there’s nothing we can do to convince Shai to stay or not. If he decides he wants to leave, we’ll get a huge return for him and we’ll keep building. Its out of our control, so no point in constantly stressing about it. Will just suck that another incredibly unlucky injury with chet would be the cause for it

Congratulations on being clickbaited now can we please keep this garbage off of our sub?

If Shai ever gets moved I hope it’s to anyone but Toronto. This shit is so annoying.

My buddy who’s a raptors fan always says shai is sick of losing and can definitely see him gettin tired of it and leaving but He doesn’t take into account that the last two years the thunder have been losing he’s been hurt for the majority of the season it’s not like he’s playin 82 games and losing 70 of them he simply hasn’t been healthy and we are a young team, while it is a possibility he leaves he also is very vocal about being commited to the team and it’s plan so I ain’t worried

I’m sure it’s not just Shai that might be frustrated at not winning but this was always a long rebuild process. It’s a shame Chet is injured as I reckon Thunder record would be much much better than it is as we are desperately needing a good big man. So next year with all things in perspective most pieces should be in place and Presti will start wheeling and dealing to get Thunder as strong as possible
