Bucks went through this in the 00’s. I still remember Richard Jefferson being in disbelief of the non calls he was getting

This never would have happened if David Stern was still alive.

I believe it. I think Bogut said the same exact screen he did with the warriors became a moving screen on the Mavs or something like that.

I definitely think there’s something psychological about officiating that leads to refs making calls that fulfill expectations. If you expect Tom Brady to win every game, you might have a predisposition to believe he should receive a call that you wouldn’t otherwise award another player, because Brady gets those calls. If you expect the Kings to be trash and lose, you might not give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a good whistle on a play where they should have gotten one.
It’s sad, I think this Kings team is actually pretty good. This is their best chance at breaking the drought in a long time, and the quality of the West this year helps them too. But, they’ve really gotten the short end of the stick. Some sports teams are like this unfortunately.

If I could change one thing about the NBA, it would be the officiating. It shouldn’t matter if you’re a superstar or bench player/world champs or the Kings, foul calling should be consistent.

Grand conspiracy against the Kings for the noise made in the 2002 robbery.
Kings will never make the playoffs for the duration of their franchise’s existence. Or until all refs active at the time, and their families, are dead and gone.

It’s pretty much common knowledge that their is bias. They don’t even hide it anymore
