Nice to see Montreal NBA Players being covered. Maybe one day, a franchise will come to the city. The city has potential, costs will delay them of getting a Franchise fee. Need more culture to Greater Montreal. And considering the amount of players that are coming into the league from the Grassroots, especially Montreal North. It will always be a dream, but hopefully it will come.
Mathurin really reminds me of a young Ray Allen. He's an elite 3 level scorer already with solid vision who hustles hard on defense. He's got supreme confidence like Allen and he's not scared of the big moment. Both Milwaukee/Seattle Ray and Mathurin have great hops and underrated finishing skills. I can see him and Haliburton leading this Pacers team to deep runs in the future.
The Magic number 1 pick is the best so far and it ain't even close…..
Mathurin is an intriguing wing player who possess all the tools to excel at the next level and shows flashes of All Star level talent. However, I would mainly compare him to Derozen, as his handles just aren't at a level yet where I can honestly say his play style is similar to MJ.
He has the D Wade floater down…I'd say a 6'6 D wade with a better 3 shot.
