I’ll take the win even though we almost blew the lead we had in Thibs fashion. Rebounding was trash we are really missing Mitch. Efficient game from everyone. Randle played solid but he should reduce the amount of 3s he takes. He went from 0 from 7 from 3 and 8 from 11 from 2. His strength is attacking the rim the coaching staff needs to reinforce that. Nice to see IQ makes some shots hopefully that turns things around.

One can only hope to survive the Bogdanovic/Livers two headed monster…

would you rather have frank ntilikina or killian hayes?

RJ with 30/5/5. Other than the first game he’s actually been pretty solid this season.

His passing this game was more impressive than his scoring tonight. If he can pass like that all season we can go far.

Sooo…. RJ has clearly improved the free throws and the finishing this season. The handles look a bit cleaner. Why do idiots on this sub still say he can’t improve???

Knicks up by 7+ are an entirely different team than otherwise offensively lol. Play design and ball movement looks great when they have a decent lead just play like that all the time. Anyway I’ll take the win

    Brunson was great.

    RJ was great.

Randle was solid even tho his jumper was off.

My biggest concern is the bench. These guys are underwhelming asf…they need to step it up.

    – A close win that had no business being close. Knicks made it harder than it needed to be.
    – Jalen Brunson was great again, Barrett & Randle back in form, and Hartenstein played well also.
    – A recent trope amongst Thibodeau-coached teams is the inability to keep a big lead & letting the opponent back in the game. Happened again tonight. Good thing we played the Pistons.
    – Detroit is a very young team that needs to a) stay healthy & b) get the young guns more experience. They’ll be good next year.

cam stinking it up again. we really need a 3 and D that can start. Grimes will be good but don’t think he’s ready for it just yet.
    crowder would be nice.

Seriously been missing Mitch the last few games.

Got a little too close towards the end but they managed to win.

    Great game by RJ.

Brunson is the teams best player by far.

Randle played decent too. Really need him to continue to play better to raise his trade value. Rooting for Randle!

I don’t know what people see in Hartenstein but ok, sure.

    Obi needs to play more.

IQ is trash and really really really hope he gets packaged in a trade with Randle and Fournier.

Grimes needs to get healthy, it’s good to see him play.

Randle missed all his 3s but he went 8-11 from 2 and finished with 21/8/5 and a team high +13.

If he keeps letting the game come to him, he will be a nice 3rd option.

there was just no reason for that game to be as close as it was but we got a mike breen bang call out of it so i’m happy

  14. I like the starters (including Mitchell Robinson) I like Isaiah Hartenstein, Grimes & Obi. Everyone else can get traded for better bench players, 3&D lengthy guys, maybe like a jordan clarkson. Idk all im saying is im happy with the win BUT the bench sucks. The bench also sucked before evan went to the bench. They start the 4th quarter & they cant score or defend when the game slows down. Need to bolster our bench.

RJ played amazing. Dude is so good at getting to the rim. If he continues to finish at a good percentage he’s in for a very good season.

Brunson continues his borderline all star play. If the East wasn’t so deep at guard he’d have a legit chance.

I miss Mitch a ton. Hart was solid on the glass but it’s tough to replace Mitch’s vertical spacing on offense and how many shots he alters.

    A win is a win.

I won’t lie, I’ve seen some awful Knicks teams that have basically made me quit basketball. I actually enjoy watching this team and I like a lot of the players.

I thought the bench was gonna be great with Evan but there’s something wrong with that man rn.

  18. redrich2000

Jalen Brunson needs to shoot more.

Julius Randle needs to shoot less.

    Evan Fournier needs to retire.

  19. RJ is starting to look legit right now. Pls let this continue
